WHITWORTH PARK
Whitworth Park is a private park, open to the public 365 days a year. The park contains several ponds, an ornamental lake and a wide variety of trees as well as various planted areas all nestled within 10 acres of mature parkland. Threaded by wide paved paths, the park is accessible for wheelchairs, pushchairs and mobility scooters. Home to numerous indigenous and migrating wildlife, Whitworth Park is a beautiful, tranquil, serene, landscape to walk, run, picnic, read, play, meet and interact with other members of the community or visitors to the peaks. Skate Bowl
The skate bowl is located near the Childrens Playground and is a fantastic space for skateboarders of all ages. The use of protective gear is advised when using this equipment.
Football Pitches
Our two football pitches, situated at the bottom of our park hosts a variety of games throughout the year. For more information on booking the pitch contact enquiries@whitworthcentre.org
Croquet Court
The Darley Dale Croquet Club play Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12.30 pm to about 4.30 pm April- October. For more information go to www.darleydalecroquetclub.org.uk
Crown Green Bowling Green

As a registered charity we are always looking for helping hands to support the everyday maintenance of the venue and park. We have lots of volunteering opportunities available at The Whitworth to suit everyone's abilities and skill set.
