About the event
Since the building's opening in 1890, there have been many stories of ghostly sightings reported at The Whitworth, from injured soldiers who came back home from France during the Great War, to the ghost of Lady Whitworth herself. So what spirits will we encounter on this eerie night? Join Brookes Paranormal, professionals in Ghost Hunts and Paranormal Events, for a spine-chilling evening you'll never forget.
Your event will begin with a large group vigil in the Assembly Hall, to help build up the energies around us and introduce everyone to the spirits. Then grouped in smaller numbers, you'll be investigating the Brunel Room, the Billiard Room, the Library and the Corridor, using our top of the range ghost hunting equipment, and our own senses. The BP Team will also be offering plenty of hot refreshments and light snacks on breaks, as well as their friendly chit-chats on all things history and the paranormal.

Please note that there will be areas with no lighting or heating, so make sure to wrap up warm with a coat and bring a torch with you!
