About the event

Join Chatsworth Players for one of theatre’s original Rom-Coms - Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night. Full of unrequited love, mistaken identities, sword-fights, knaves, fools, and general tomfoolery, Twelfth Night is a beloved classic. Shakespeare’s plays are full of lines we all know, and this one is no different, “If music be the food of love, play on”, “Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and others have greatness thrust upon them”, and “better a witty fool than a foolish wit”.

So grab your camping chair or picnic blanket, a picnic, weather-appropriate clothing (we will go ahead in the rain), and head to any one of our seven stunning venues for an outdoor performance of Shakespeare’s uproarious and entertaining Twelfth Night.

In the event of rain, we ask that you kindly refrain from bringing umbrellas as it blocks the view for other audience members.

Running time: 2 hours

Age guidance: 7+
